Dublin
The capital city right at the mouth of River Liffey with a metropolitan pace
This was the last stop of our Spring Break vacation. My uncle and high school English teacher advised me to try and stay in smaller cities in other parts of Ireland in order to get an Irish feel. My friend and I flew from Prague in to Dublin at night where we spent evening bar hopping in the Temple Bar area. The next couple of days we were in Galway but came back the morning of our flight to explore Dublin. We were able to see the main attractions such as the Dublin Castle, St. Peter's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Green, Christ Church Cathedral, Dublinia, and Trinity College. We ran into a tour guide in his early 70s when we stopped to eat and he was very impressed with how much we got to see in just one day.
