The restaurant that I went to served Nepalese food, which is quite similar to Indian food. However, there is definitely something different about it. I think I prefer it to Indian food almost. It isn't spicy yet it is really flavorful. Pictured above is the meal that I purchased. I got the chicken rice platter which consisted of chicken obviously in an amazing sauce with a side of spinach and a potato/cauliflower mixture, which was AMAZING. I could eat just the potato/cauliflower mixture. We also split a dish of noodles and chicken dumplings. All of this food was cheap too! I only spent a total of $40 HKD on this amazing meal.
I love the idea of a secret restaurant because you know there won't be a lot of people when you go and you know the food is always fresh. My friend Jung's coworker took us to this restaurant and explained that there are many secret restaurants where they don't even have a menu but what they cooked that day. I wish I could share where this amazing restaurant is but I think it is also cool that the restaurant doesn't want to be popular. They just want to cook for people at a reasonable price. I will definitely be going back in the future!
